Human obligation is to obey the rules of Allah in
the form of sharia brought by the prophets sent to them. For
the present, the prophet who was sent to the entire universe is His Majesty the
Great Prophet Muhammad. Shari'a
which he brought is a prevailing one,
replacing the previous prophets’ shari’a. Shari'a
leads men carry true noble morality, because the law of
the Prophet Muhammad is to enhance good
morals.
Prophet said:
Prophet said:
It means: "I was sent only to enhance good
morals" (HR Ahmad
n.y.)
Shari'ah brought by Prophet Muhammad
was comprehensive. All
matters relating to human actions can not be separated from it. All
have been governed by the Koran and Hadith in the form of laws of fiqh that it’s five (mandatory, sunnah, permissible, makruh and haram).
All have been governed by the Koran
and Hadith in the form of laws of fiqh which
is five (wajib
/ mandatory, sunnah / desirable, mubah / permissible, makruh / disliked and haram / forbidden).
1. Wajib is an act that gives reward to the performers and punishment to ignoramus.
2. Sunnah is an act that gives reward to the performers, but do not give punishment to ignoramus.
3. Mubah is an act that does not give a reward
or punishment to the performers and the ignoramus.
4. Makruh is an act that does not give punishment
to the performers, but reward to ignoramus (with the intention of ignoring).
5.Haram is an act that
gives punishment to the performers and reward for ignoramus (with the
intention of ignoring).
People who violate the law had been
insubordinate towards Allah. What
a wretched man who rebel against the King of the most powerful in the
universe. Fortunately, Allah is the King who is
Forgiving, Merciful. The
transgressors still got the chance to ask for forgiveness and repent. Allah SWT. says:
It means: "And whoever repents after
committing a crime and improve themselves, then Allah accepts repentance. Allah
is Forgiving, Merciful. " (al-Maidah: 39)
Therefore, let us, as human beings which
is in fact the place of wrongness and forgetfulness to always remember Allah,
Always ask for forgiveness and repent if we do immoral, although it is
difficult to avoid immoral. Can
not refused, that we are now in the time foretold by the Prophet Muhammad
p.b.u.h.:
It means: "Messenger of Allah. said:
'Woe to the Arabs (Arabs called because they are the highest Muslim at that
time). They
have approached so much slander like pieces of dark night, which makes a person
faithful in the morning and infidel in the afternoon. People
selling their religion with little treasures of the world. People
who cling to religion at that time like a person who holds the coals "
Then the lucky people who want to
repent and admit mistakes. People
like that, Allah promised forgiveness and reward received from Him, their Lord,
as to which Allah said when explaining the nature of those who fear Him:
It means: "And (those who fear
also are) those who, when working on indecency or wronging themselves, they
remember Allah and ask forgiveness for their sins and anyone else who can
forgive sins but Allah? and
they did not pursue the evil deeds they did, whilst, they knowing. Their
reward is forgiveness from their Lord and heaven in which rivers flow, to dwell
therein forever; and
that is the best to reward those who do good. " (Ali Imran: 135-136)
Let us carry out repentance by to
meet the elements (read: the pillars of) it, namely: regretting the deed, left it
and convince yourself not to repeat. It
would be better if the implementation is done with prayers of repentance as a
medium / wasilah in order to be accepted by Allah. Prophet taught us:
Meaning: "Messenger of Allah. said: 'No servant ever
commit a sin then he take ablutions well and stand praying two cycles, after
which he asks forgiveness to Allah except He forgives'. Then the Prophet read
the verse 'walladzina idza fa'alu ... "(HR Abu Dawud n.y.)
Al-Bujairimi said: The benefit of repentance is that if
it is legitimate then it will remove the sin of kufr certainly and remove sins
but Kufr is dhanni uncertainly, even such a great sin. To implement repentance is
mandatory, though repentance from small sin or from delaying repentance. Yeah,
delaying repentance is a sin that should also be repented. Repentance is included
as foremost obedience. Repentance does not have to be renewed when considering
sin. It’s required that repentance must to occurs before lives up to the throat
and before the sun rises from the west. Also required the fulfillment of the
pillars of repentance, namely regretting the deed, left and convince yourself not
to repeat (al-Bujairimi n.y.).
You want to repent?
Criticisms and
suggestions are we expected. Thank you.
